The Evolution of the Deserts

In early Kymaerican times, there were relatively few deserts distributed around the world–but the great exception was the vast underwater desert just off the coast of what we would call Namibia.  When the water collapsed on that, the explosion itself was dramatic, but what seared the earth was the rain of fragments of desert raining into every corner of the earth.
